One of my ndew veneered bowls. The bowl itself is made of tulipwood, which is one of the most stable of timbers and provides a good base on which to glue the veneers. The veneers are sycamore (the lighter wood) and walnut. The bowl has been oiled and polished and, while making a great display piece, could also be used for keeping those small things like keys, cuff-links etc.
