Bowl in sweet chestnut with inlays, as is my signature work, this time made in matching glass by Judith Middleton, fellow member of th eOxfordshire Craft Guild.  We discussed a set of colours that would set off the tones of the wood and I think she has succeeded excellently.  As in many of my inlay bowls, the central portion can be functional and, as it is finished in carnauba was, which is non-toxic, could be used for fruit or salads.
