Just right for that candlelit dinner for two. Multiple tealight holder in asht his is the first one in my new series with the top veneered, in this case in sycamore and American black walnut.
 
The pictures show white tealights but they are also available in red and purple.

Care instructions

Made for standard 40 mm tealights. However, they do come in slightly different sizes. I make mine for (and supply them with) tealights from IKEA which are the biggest ones I have found. Others are a millimetre or so smaller in diameter and/or height but they should all fit in the holes provided. Fire and wood are awkward companions so always keep the tealight in the thin aluminium cases provided. If wax should spill onto the wood, let it dry and then gently scrape off as much as possible without damaging the wood; finally use a cloth to rub off the last bits.

Made on my lathe with standard turning tools. After inlaying the black and white stripes and some careful marking out I make the four outer holes as the last step with a pillar drill and a 40mm diameter Forstner bit.
