Paperweight in leadwood.  Leadwood is one of the densest timbers there is but, to make sure that it works properly, as on all my paperweights, I've hollowed out the inside and filled it with metal.  As a design feature the plug I've used to cover the hole is in jewellery grade pewter which I think contrasts well with the dark leadwood.
 
It weighs over 400 grams so don't drop it on your foot! Supplied in a presentation box.
