One of my discus artforms. The core of this piece is elm with some exciting burr. The central portion is sapele. The beads add interest to both sections.

The base, which I hope is elegant and unobtrusive allows the discus to be displayed at any angle round the 360 degree circle (as shown by comparing the first two pictures).

A statement piece to accompany an art collection and sit strategically on a shelf.
