One of my new discus artforms. This piece is made of beech - from a timbermill which obtains wood from all over Oxfordshire and a bit beyond - and the inlay is leather cord.

The base, which I hope is elegant and unobtrusive, is in beech. The fitting of the discus to the base allows the discus to be displayed at any angle round the 360 degree circle.

A statement piece to accompany an art collection and sit strategically on a shelf.
