Thuya (botanical name : tetraclinis articulata) is a beautiful wood which grows mostly in North Africa.  The root burr, which this piece is made from, is made by repeated removal of coppice growth, which forces increased root growth, all of which is labour intensive.Dimensions - Diameter 14.7cm Height 4.7cm
